Having become more intimately involved with the business since 2015, Shafin brings experience in Food Manufacturing, Logistics and Hospitality along with a background in Corporate Finance and Law
Suvrut Pandya – (President)
With over 40 years of manufacturing experience and having led the company since 2000, Suvrut has been instrumental in driving the growth of Mortimer’s to bring it to where it is today
Suvrut oversees all aspects of the business with recent notable achievements including managing the process of moving to our larger production facilites, and overseeing the product development and bringing to market our new product ranges
Ron Pineo – (Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer)
Ron brings 14 years of experience in the Food Industry in Operations, Finance and software development
He has a wide range of experience working with the largest retailers in Canada for fulfilment and distribution and traceability as well as hands on experience implementing ERP and traceability solutions at production facilities across North America
Anthony Policelli – (Director Business Development)
With over 35 years in the Food Industry Including at buyer level, and 14 years at Mortimer’s, Anthony offers a wealth of experience in this sector. He has been key in developing Mortimer’s sales profile both from a branded and non-branded perspective (Private Label and Co Packing)
He has also played an important role in product development from the origination stage through to seeing the product “on the shelves”
Arpita Patel (Quality Assurance Manager)
Arpita brings 17 years of experience in the Food industries & Environmental Labs (Dairy, meat and accredited food testing Lab) as well as a B.Sc in Microbiology along with a number of Food Safety / HACCP qualifications.
She effectively uses her knowledge of HACCP, Quality Assurance and Food Safety within food processing to ensure we always provide safe product to customers.
Chirag Patel – (Production Manager/Product developer)
Chirag brings 10 years of experience in Food Production Facilities and Environmental Labs in Quality Assurance and Production Manager roles
He uses his experience in previous roles and his educational background (MSC hons. in Food and Nutritional Biochemistry) to ensure manufacturing of high-quality products as to well as to work closely with the R&D team on product development
